We are glad to reintroduce our Sun DuckTM - a solution dyed woven acrylic fabric. But in reality, Sun DuckTM has a lot more offer than just a warp and fill!
Sun DuckTM is a quality product backed by decades of expertise and finesse in the manufacturing of outdoor fabrics. Sun DuckTM comes to you after exceeding stringent quality specifications that are desirable for protection from outdoor elements. If we won’t use it on our homes and boats, then we won’t sell it to you. Period!
The acrylic fibers used to manufacture the yarns for Sun DuckTM are produced by a chemical process called polymerization. Then they are spun straight out from dye solution. This process is known as “solution dyeing” and is far superior to all other conventional dyeing methods. These fibers are spun and woven using State-of-the art technology.
The resultant fabric boasts outstanding resistance to growth of mildew, have high UV resistance & also have enhanced water repellency. Sun DuckTM has a protective fluorocarbon finish that is stain and soil resistant. This finish also increases the life of the fabric. Simply speaking, Sun DuckTM is a tighter-woven, high quality outdoor fabric that requires minimum maintenance. |
